Seeing the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree illuminated is an iconic event that you won't want to miss that dates back to 1933. Every year, people from all over come to see the tree lit up and enjoy the festivities. This year, the tree is illuminated from November 28th to January 7th. As if that wasn't exciting enough, you can also take a stroll down 5th Avenue to see the famous holiday lights twinkling in the night.
Ice skating at Rockefeller Center is a must-do activity during the holidays. Not only will you get to see the beautiful Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, but you'll also be able to enjoy a festive ice skating session in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Skating at Rockefeller Center is definitely a unique experience and one that you won't forget.

Plus, the market is open every day from November 17th until December 14th, so there's plenty of time to visit!
Bryant Park is one of the most charming holiday spots in NYC. During the holidays, it transforms into a festive winter wonderland with an ice rink, holiday shops, and a vintage carousel. The Holiday Shops (over 170) at Bryant Park is a great place to find unique gifts for everyone on your list – from jewelry and accessories to home decor and gourmet food items. There's also an outdoor ice skating rink that you can enjoy with family and friends (it's also the only free rink in NYC). With a great view of the lodge offers nice bites and cocktails. The festivities at Bryant Park are open until January 2nd!

A visit to Brooklyn's Dyker Heights neighborhood is another must-do during the holidays. This residential area is known for its over-the-top holiday decorations, such as inflatable characters, life-sized Santas and massive light displays (they go ALL OUT)! Driving or walking through the area will definitely put you in the holiday spirit!
If you're looking for another festive shopping experience, be sure to check out the Grand Central Holiday Fair. This market is located in the heart of Grand Central Terminal and offers a wide variety of gift options. You'll find everything from jewelry and clothing to art and home decor.
